RULES

Activity: Between work and spoons, I’m gonna be pretty in-and-out on this blog. I want to think I’ll stay somewhat on top of things, but we’ll just hafta see. Small business rules and sucks at the same time, y'all. Selectivity: My goal is to keep my dash small, so if I don’t follow back, it’s nothing against you and you’re welcome to toss interactions my way anyhow. I’m more likely to follow back if we have compatible verses! Shipping: I’m not seeking new ships, but I’m open to it if there’s lots of OOC communication. I’m highly unlikely to do any NSFW here (excluding memes for funsies), and I won’t write ships with muns under 18. I’m okay with in-character age gaps if the younger character is 21+ and if the circumstances don’t otherwise squick me. Reblog Karma: I appreciate this and will be doing it! I also prefer if you reblog memes from the source when possible. Content: Fellow RP blogs: Pls don’t use my blog as an aesthetic farm – AKA, interact with me, too, don’t just reblog my pretties. Non-RP blogs: Y'all are fine there, lol, but I'd still love to hear from you with memes, questions, or anything else. 👀 To all: If you want to treat my inbox like an ask blog (AKA dropping random questions and scenarios into my inbox), feel free! Canon Warnings: Fallout features a Lot of mature topics including violence (including and especially gun violence), torture, addiction, racism, nuclear war, body horror, slavery, militarism, nationalism, and McCarthyism. Character specifics may highlight illness (including cancer mentions), toxic parenting, intense grief, and suicidal ideation. Personal: I need OOC suicidal ideation, NSFW, and animal/pet death posts tagged accordingly. If there are repeated untagged posts, I’ll softblock. In addition, I will not be interacting with any RP blogs still participating in Harry Potter fandom – This is non-negotiable, and my only fandom DNI at this time. I shouldn't have to say why, and won't answer any asks about this. I also don't want to interact with muses from Amazon's Fallout TV show – This isn't an outright DNI, I just haven't had time to watch it yet. While there are some spoilers I haven't been able to avoid, I want to go in as fresh as possible! About Me: Soooo I’m always the worst at self-intros. I love plotting, long-term plotlines, world-building, and I’m super normal about the Cabots, promise. This blog will be 99.99% Fallout, but I may play with some alternate verses (like modern) or the occasional canon AU or crossover. Previous Blogs: praesidum, homestations, gwinnetts-a, gwinnetts-archive, courierdusters, courierdusters-a, dicepools, unclean-living, changing-roads

characters

Elle Days: (Courier Six - Wild Card) An amnesiac courier with her heart bleeding on her sleeve. In seeking answers, she found her way to the heart of a war, and over time, the messenger became the message. Whether she's aware of it or not, and regardless of whether it's deliberate on her end, Elle is an agent of change. One of the things she wants most is to make a difference, and wherever she goes, change of some sort is bound to follow... Even if, sometimes, that change is only within herself.
Zetta Reynolds: (Sole Survivor - Railroad) A Pre-War mechanic whose family fell into one of Vault-Tec's experiments, only to be then splintered by the Institute. She emerges from Vault 111 with her teeth bared, ready to fight what the world's become in order to get her family back — what's left of it, anyway. When she realizes she's on her way to becoming just one more person who wants to burn it all down again, she turns herself around... Only for that choice to pit her against her family once she finds what she's looking for.
Riley Reynolds: (Sole Survivor) A naturally gentle man who struggled with Pre-War injustice. But he feared making a stand in case it put a target on his already at-risk family. His limited action haunts him Post-War. He never truly recovers from the loss of his wife, who he grew up with and very much depended on. Lost and numb, he fights hard to do good so others won't suffer like he did. Unfortunately, his grief is a barrier between him and setting down roots in the New World, leaving him vulnerable to the machinations of what's left of the old. ("You save everyone, but who saves you?")
Bellamy Rook: (East Coast Enclave Remnant) A social outcast whose only choices were to stay or die. Forced into the Secret Services to survive, he found freedom in his new work as a surface infiltrator — And he used it to lay the groundwork to run at first opportunity. It arrived when the Lone Wanderer and the Brotherhood of Steel destroyed the Enclave. But he couldn't bring himself to abandon the only family he knew, so he helped other Remnants escape to and integrate as civilians in the Commonwealth. As much as he's willing to do whatever is necessary for his own survival, deep down there's a nugget of conscience that he can never entirely ignore — A fact he's very aware of, and rues daily.
R.J. MacCready: (Fallout 4 Canon) A mercenary who left the Gunners, but not the business of killing people for a living. He has a bad boy attitude and doesn't hesitate in baring his selfishness, but bizarrely, among his many bad habits, swearing isn't one of them. Past his alternating sharp sarcasm and childlike sense of humor lies a deeper maturity, one that's earned from having to be in an adult role since childhood. He is a quintessential wastelander, for all the strengths and weaknesses it affords him, but he is always looking to the future.
Edward Deegan: (Fallout 4 Canon) Professional, reliable, and capable. Originally hired by the Cabots in 2058, Edward serves as a general aide, maintaining family property and day-to-day details — In other words, he keeps their groceries stocked, the generators running, and oversees other employees. Becoming a ghoul shortly after the Great War gave him the ability to continue working for the family for over two hundred years, and he's in no desire for a change in occupation.
Secondary Muses: (Fallout 4, New Vegas - Canon & Original) Includes Dean Domino, Nick Valentine, Jack Cabot, Emogene Cabot, experimental Lone Wanderer AUs, and potentially others (Deacon, Shaun, more Fallout AUs for characters from other canons).
Verse Types: Fallout: New Vegas (various endings and canon divergences), Fallout 4 (various endings, canon divergences, and outright AUs), Marvel 616 crossovers, Stardew Valley / modern AUs, and personalized verses.
